Micha Klang first discovered electronic music in the mid 1990's while playing in a punk band. Soon Micha and his friends found themselves quickly gravitating towards DJ mixes and the parties going on in their hometown of Nuremberg, Germany.

Strongly influenced by the sounds of such artists as the legendary Sven Väth, he quit playing guitar, bought turntables, and immersed himself in the world of DJing. His first gigs in 1997 helped support his new record buying habits, and more importantly – pushed him into new musical arenas.

A year later, Klang began promoting his own events, christened by the Mothership parties. It wasn't long before Mothership became one of the leading club nights in Nürnberg. Other clubs such as Tresor, Airport, Stammheim, and U60311 took notice and put him behind their decks.

In the next few years, Micha brought Mothership to many of the best festivals in Europe (Sonne Mond Sterne, Liberty One), and promoted an own as well: Summership. It took place once a year (2003-2006) in an old castle attended by thousands! He added more club nights to his roster (Harpune, Harry Klein, Centrum), and the success of his promotion opened avenues to production:

In 2003 Micha Klang, along with friends Joachim Spallek and DJ Sebrok released their first EP on Bash Music. Klang founded his label Paso Music with Spallek, Sebrok, and Marc Miroir in 2004. He released all together two EPs on this imprint. 2005 he did a remix for Surveillance Music.

2006 Micha left Paso Music to launch another Label named Glückskind Schallplatten together with Jürgen Kirsch (Stil vor Talent). Up to now he published on this label one vinyl EP and two digital only EP´s.
