Santos Resiak Santos Resiak
Dante Costantini, aka Santos Resiak, is arguably one of techno’s most promising young prodigies of the moment. The experiences of his past year have taken in the US, UK and Europe, as well as South America as explored from his home base of Rosario, Argentina. Born into a league of crunchy, tight producers shaping the restless emerging Argentinean scene, Santos’ musical style, like the spirit of his country, oscillates in peaks of glory and breakdowns of collapse, always retaining a sense of triumph, pride and style. This young producer began his journey in 2000, preparing a live act based on his laptop and midi controller, looping and sampling his own productions - a private arsenal of minimal, tech-house and techno.

Playing all over Rosario City and touring Mexico in ’06, taking in such popular and well known venues as Rioma, Hotel Condesa and the famous Am Club with well known artists such as Jeniffer Cardini, Tobias Thomas and Matías Aguayo, as well as a set at the South American Music Conference (SAMC), saw Santos sense of adventure begin to take shape. Touring the US cities of New York and Philadelphia in 2008, the chance to play at venues such as Sullivan Rooms and The Bunker only increased a desire to venture further afield and it was with optimism that he set off for Europe in the same year.

Signing exclusively for Robin Porter’s US & UK based label Immigrant Records, Santos made Berlin his base from which to explore the continent, playing there in that thriving city as well as in London and Poland. Having already released on Subtropical Records, Gluckskind Schallplatten (with remixes from Ryan Crosson) and Someone Else’s Unfoundsound label, Santos is always striving to forward his sound with each new experience garnered – setting high his own benchmarks, who knows what the future will hold.
